BEAUFORT, S.C. (10:30 AM, May 17, 2007) – Local law enforcement cracks down on traffic violators….
Today, in the daily traffic management meeting, local law enforcement officials met to discuss issues concerning traffic violations of motorists moving or going around barricades.
Local law enforcement will begin strict enforcement of these violations, and motorists should be aware that the traffic fine could be in excess of $200 (as well as 4 points).
Local law enforcement officials are asking the public to be patient as they work through the daily traffic and encourage them to pay attention to directions given by law enforcement directing traffic.
