Harmony Masonic Lodge Awards EMS


Beaufort County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is proud to announce that two employees have earned awards this week.

Dianna Krimmer received the Asa C. Godowns EMS Professional of the Year award and Michele Galbraith received the Career EMS Professional Award presented to them by the
Harmony Masonic Lodge.

Dianna Krimmer, an Intermediate EMT and has been with EMS for over 2 years. She has been a true asset to the community. Dianna has put in countless hour of training this year along with assisting in off duty activities related to EMS such as working parades and car seat inspections. She was one of the first EMT’s in the county to be certified as a child passenger safety inspector. She is a go to person for anything that need done and a true inspiration of the spirit of EMS in the community. Dianna has work to better EMS and promote it through our schools and community events and we at EMS are proud of her accomplishments.

Michele Galbraith is a Paramedic and has been with EMS for over 15 years. Michele is an example of the great talent that is at Beaufort County EMS. Over her years at EMS she has trained and kept current with today’s life saving actions. Her dedication to Beaufort County’s Community is with out question. She is a single mother and still finds time to both excel in her job as a paramedic and maintain a close family structure. Michele was one of the women recognized in November by “Pink! Magazine” a local woman’s monthly magazine that highlights women’s issues. We at Beaufort County EMS are Proud of her years of commitment to her profession and her family.

Harmony Masonic Lodge presents the EMS Professional of the year award annually to someone who has demonstrated outstanding contributions and professional service to the citizens of Beaufort County through the field of Emergency Medical Services.

The award is named for Asa C. Godowns, the Deputy Director of Beaufort County EMS for over 24 years who was killed in an auto accident in March 2001.

Rusty Hollingsworth is the Deputy Director for Beaufort County EMS

Laurence Laughlin is the chairman of the EMS awards committee and Scott is the Worshipful
Master of Harmony Masonic Lodge #22.

Dianna Krimmer received the Asa C. Godowns EMS Professional of the Year Award

Michele Galbraith received the 2005 EMS Career Person of the Year Award.
