The Delinquent Tax Office is charged with collecting taxes on all real estate and personal property (except vehicles) that have not been paid prior to March 16 of each year. The tax execution delinquents cost for 2012 are added as follows:

Amounts added after these dates:

March 31 Execution:

$50.00 on all Personal Property
$75.00 on all Real Property

August 31 Advertisement for tax sale:

$25.00 on all Personal Property
$50.00 on all Real Property

All dates are subject due to calendar conflicts. Please call the Delinquent Tax Office at (843) 255- 2600 to verify tax amount due prior to payment. After May 31, all payments on delinquent accounts must be made in the form of cash, cashier's checks, certified funds, or money order. No personal checks will be accepted on delinquent accounts
